Silveira and Harrison Pool Fun

The Silveiras came over on Saturday night for some fun in the pool and for pizza. The girls had a great time being pulled around the pool by Uncle Joe.

Bubala's Ultrasound

Mommy, daddy, and Sarah went to have bubala's ultrasound done this morning at 8:30. The good news is that bubala looks healthy and beautiful! The bad news is that they want to change my due date from December 15 to December 3 because she/he is measuring a little bigger. Looks like we will be shopping around for a doctor who will believe my due date and who won't want to take my baby early! I'll keep you all updated with my progress. I have a meet and greet with another doctor's office on August 23....we are hopeful! Here are some pictures of our beautiful baby boy or girl!

Garlic Scape Pesto

We got a bunch of garlic scapes from our local CSA and I wasn't sure what to do with them. I went online and found a fabulous pesto recipe. Here is the website where I found the recipe...just scroll down and you will find it: http://www.mykitchenaddiction.com/2010/06/garlic-scape-pesto/

Sleepy Sarah

Matt got Sarah from her crib today when she woke up from her nap. She seemed a little sleepy, so he put her on the couch. Sure enough...she fell back asleep! So adorable!

Blueberry Picking 2010

The Harrison clan went blueberry picking this morning at Berry Hill Farm in Goffstown. Mommy went alone on Thursday and picked 20 pounds. The four of us managed to pick another 14 pounds this morning! Maddie ate EVERYTHING she picked and even tried to steal some out of the family bucket! Sarah picked and ate, while Matt was busy watching the girls so mommy could get a bunch of picking done. The weather was perfect in the beginning...about 74 degrees and cloudy. After about half an hour it started to get sticky and hot...a little complaining started from the peanut gallery too (Matt said that blueberry picking with two kids under 4 is like an olympic event)! Here are some pics....

Blueberry Crumb Pie

I made my very first blueberry pie today. I used the crust that I always make (for apple pies) and put on a crumb topping. It was amazing!!!! Matt and I are going to eat our second pieces when the kids go to bed!

Deck Day 6

There is hope for our deck!!! It looks great so far and should be done by early next week. We chose to do a mahogony deck over the "trex" type and we are so happy we did. Our builder started the step-up today so we should be in our pool in a few short days!!!!!

17 Weeks Pregnant

I had a doctor's appointment this morning for Bubala and so far everything looks great. The baby's heart rate was about 143 BPM and my blood pressure was good. I go back in 5 weeks because I'll be gone for my 4 week visit.

Ocean Park Maine June 2010

The Harrisons headed back to Ocean Park with Grandma last week. We had an AMAZING time! The weather was perfect and the sand dollaring and sea glassing was spectacular! Grandma and mommy woke up around 4:40 each morning to head up to the beach for the sun rise (only saw it two days because of clouds) and to look for sea glass and sand dollars! I usually found at least two a day, but on Wednesday I found 30 and on Thursday I found 21!!! I was lucky enough to have an intimate encounter with a sea otter on Tuesday morning too! He had come ashore and was relaxing when I ran up to him. I was about 12 inches from him and he just looked at me and then started walking/sliding back to the water. Incredible!!!! We are looking forward to next year already!!
