Sarah and I went to Kohl's this morning to take advantage of their 50% off sale. We had a great time and you can see that Sarah is already a great little shopper!

Climbing Genius

Sarah has been a handful since she started crawling a few weeks ago. Now she is trying to hold on to anything so she can pull herself to a standing position. I put my empty mug and plate on the couch today and the next thing I knew she was pulling herself up to try and get it! Better luck next time Sarah-mommy is too quick for you! Slipper Fun

Sarah and I spent the day inside today due to the yucky rain. She must have gotten bored this morning because the next thing I knew she was playing with my slippers! She is fascinated by the fur and would try to eat them if I let her!




Go Sarah Go! We gave her some peas last night and to our surprise she actually ate a few spoonfuls! I gave her some more this morning and again tonight! I think we are making some progress!


There is just no limit for Sarah and her "sooooooo big"!

Say Chili....

So...you all know how solid food has been going for Sarah-it hasn't! Well, today Matt, Garmi, and I were eating vegan chili and Sarah looked like she was interested. We figured that it was safe enough to let her try it (the sauce) and she loved it! She actually opened her mouth for a second and third time! Who knew!

Gingerbread Goodness

Matt and I decided that we need to come up with some Holiday traditions of our own so we decided that we would make gingerbread cookies. It was our first attempt and by the pictures you can't tell that they are actually "miniature gingerbread tomahawks" to use in self-defense...they are soooooo hard! I tried to make them better by putting a bunch of icing on them but it didn't work. Lesson learned: check the cookies before the recommended time is over! We are still managing to eat all of them though! =)

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy (belated) Thanksgiving everyone! We spent Thanksgiving this year in Peru! Yup....you read it right! Peru, Massachusetts that is! We went to Grandma and Grandpa Harrison's house to spend the Holiday. We included some pictures from our trip below.

First Snow of the Season

The Holiday season is definitely here! We got our first snowfall of the season and it is giving me Thanksgiving/Christmas fever! Sarah and I cuddled up on the couch and watched the snow fall for a while! I took a couple pictures of the neighborhood, but I wasn't going outside to get a picture of our house.....way too cold!

Why Buy Toys?

Matt and I wonder why we buy toys for Sarah when her favorite things to play with are normally found around a house. Take the pictures below for an example. We use the plastic case to put some of her toys in, but she rather play with the case than the toys!
