Happy Two Weeks Ben Ben!!!!
Benjamin is two weeks old today!!!! It has flown by! He is an amazing baby. He rarely cries...only when he is hungry or when we are changing his diaper. He is extremely patient with his poking and proding sisters. Ben's two nicknames are Ben Ben and Benbino. We had to move him up to size one diapers because we were having too many outfit changes a day. Matt and I are loving our quiet time with him when the girls go to bed. There is nothing better than having a sleeping baby on your chest in the evening!

More Ben Pics of Christmas
Benjamin was either sleeping or nursing every time we tried to open his presents. Here are the pics of me opening his presents....

Garmi gave Benjamin an afgan that my Nana had crocheted. Beautiful!
Papa picked out the little John Deere outfit for Ben....with matching green socks of course. There was also a tractor waiting for Ben when we arrived home from the hospital.

Christmas 2010
What a wonderful Christmas! The Harrisons headed to Epping on Christmas Eve to go to the 7 pm Mass being celebrated by Father Von. It was a little difficult to get everyone out of the house in time but we did it! We put out the cookies we had decorated for Santa when we got home. On Christmas, we came downstairs and opened our presents, had some yummy cinnamin buns, and then headed to Garmi and Papa's house for lunch and more presents. Here are some pics...

Sarah, Madeleine, and Ben pose for a pic with their cookies for Santa.
Daddy reads a new book to his little girls.
Maddie holds her new dolly tight.
Sarah enjoys her new book in front of the tree.

Gingerbread Houses
Garmi bought gingerbread houses for the girls to make. I put them together yesterday morning and then the girls decorated them last night. Here are the pics...

Daddy did most of the decorating on Maddie's....she did most of the licking and eating of candy.

Sarah did a fantastic job on hers....such patience!

Sarah's First Ballet Recital
Sarah had her first ballet recital on Sunday, December 19 at 11. Mommy and Ben were in the hospital, so Garmi brought Sarah to get ready at Central High School. Daddy, Madeleine, Aunt Gail, Garmi, and Papa were all there to support her first performance. Sarah and her class danced to "Santa Claus is Coming to Town". A friend of mine sent me the video clip....she was amazing! We are so proud of our biggest little girl!

Bilibed and Lights
We had a little surprise on Saturday morning when we thought we were going to leave. Ben's bilirubin levels came back high (15) and he had to put on a bilibed in our room around 2:30pm. He had his levels checked again later that evening and it had gone up to 17.5. Ben was moved into the nursery and put on overhead lights plus the bilibed. He screamed until his little voice was hoarse...it was awful! Eventually they listened to his mommy and put him on his tummy so that he wouldn't startle anymore. At 6 am on Sunday morning his levels dropped to 15.5 but they wanted to keep him on both until they retested him at 6pm. By Sunday night his levels had dropped to 12.3. We brought him back to our room last night (Sunday night) on the bed. He was tested again this morning at 6 am and his level had dropped even more to 10.8. He remained off the bed from 6 am this morning until 12 this afternoon when they rested him and it came back at 10.5. Yea!!! His liver is processing the bilirubin well now and he should free and clear!!!! Thank you Lord!!!!! Here are some pics of Ben when he was on the lights.
