Madeleine's First Swim

It reached 91 degrees in Hooksett today so I decided it was time to bring out the pool. Here are some pics of Maddie's first pool experience....

Sarah's New Saying

Sarah's favorite sentence now is: "Who's this guy?"

She asks it and points to just about anything: a flower, a body part, or perhaps a food she doesn't know the name of. We aren't sure where she picked it up from, but we are sure that it is really cute to hear.

Sand and Water Table

Garmi and Papa bought a sand and water table for Sarah for her second birthday. They set it up on Thursday night while they were visiting. Here are some pictures of Sarah playing with it yesterday.






Notice that she has daddy's sandals on. She HATES to be dirty and that means that she can't stand the feeling of dirt on her feet!

First Double Stroller Walk

My brother is letting us borrow his double stroller so I decided to go for a walk with the girls this morning. It was our first time using it and Maddie's first walk around our neighborhood. It was much colder and windier than I thought it was, so we only walked for 30 minutes. The girls weren't cooperating for the pictures, but here they are...

Granola Bars (Squares)

My friend gave me a great recipe for granola bars. I had to tweak them a bit to make them vegan but they were just as good as the non-vegan ones! This morning I made them again substituting half the butter with applesauce and substituting the chocolate chips for raisins. They were really good too (picture above) but I did miss the chocolate!

Playdate with the Linder Boys

Good Morning

Madeleine hung out in the exersaucer this morning while Sarah and I ate breakfast. Sarah had yogurt, raisins, and an orange (and a few bites of my scrambled eggs). When she was done eating she ran right up to Maddie to play with her. Here are some pics....
