Jalapenos

I picked our first jalapenos out of the garden this morning. I used two of them for the vegetarian fajitas I made tonight and they were YUMMY!

Sarah and Our First Picks

Here are a few pictures of Sarah exploring the front yard today. She had a skirt on in the morning, but we took it off because it was so warm today.

Sarah walking on the mulch (we are trying to teach her to not go on it but so far it isn't working).

Sarah with her favorite thing.....a leaf!

I picked our first pepper and our first cucumber this morning! We are very excited to try them out!

Clark's Trading Post

We headed to Clark's Trading Post yesterday to catch a bear show and for a ride on the train. Sarah loved watching the bears and even clapped when everybody else did....too cute.

A couple of photos from the bear show.

Clark's "Town"

Daddy and Sarah getting ready for the train to take off.

This is a picture of the Wolfman who chases the train and says that he is going to take all the children. Sarah wasn't really phased by him.

I did some candle dipping while we were there.

Chutters Candy Store Littleton, NH

We headed to Chutters Candy store after hiking at the Flume. It has the longest candy counter in the world! It was a lot of fun to see all the penny candy that we hadn't seen since we were little kids. We actually made two trips to the store because we didn't get enough the first trip! =)

Flume

We headed to the flume after going on the tram since they are only one exit away from each other. Matt and I had done it a few years earlier but had forgotten that it was a two mile hike with a bunch of stairs. Needless to say, we took it slow and had a great time. It is amazing how much harder it is to hike when you are six months pregnant. =) Sarah did really well in the Kelty back pack we bought too.

Franconia Notch Tram

Matt, Sarah, and I headed to Cannon Mountain on Saturday for a ride on the tram. Sarah did a great job on both the way up and the way down. The views were beautiful.

Whitefield NH Trip

The Harrison clan went on Matt's company's trip to the Mountain View Grand Resort and Spa in Whitefield, NH this past weekend. We arrived in Whitefield on Friday and headed back today. The resort was incredible and the view's breathtaking! We made sure to soak in every moment, because we don't know if we will ever be able to stay there again (though I hope we do). They have a golf course, outdoor pool, tennis courts, horse drawn carriage rides, a full fitness center, spa, indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna, movie theater, minature golf course, and the list goes on. If you stay during the winter, they provide you with snow shoes, cross country skis, snow tubes, and snow mobiles. Here are some pictures taken at the resort.
