Popcorn Goodness

Matt and I received a "Stir Crazy Corn Popper" for Christmas from my parents. We decided that we would make some tonight and watch the Patriots game (yes...Matt actually watched the Patriots game...sorry Jets). We took some action shots of the popper in progress!

Sarah Update: Sarah is still fighting the antibiotic tooth and nail, but we have figured out a better way to give it to her so she can't spit it all out! Matt holds her arms and I hold her face as I stick the dropper as far back in her cheek as I can get it before I squeeze. She seems to swallow most of it but she cries throughout the whole process....so sad! =( Her temperature is better tonight, 100.5. The coughing has decreased, but it always seems to be worse at night....so we'll see how tonight goes.

Grandma and Grandpa's House

We went to visit Grandma and Grandpa in Peru on Wednesday. Sarah was a very good girl in the car. She slept for 2 of the 3 hours down! She came down with an ear infection and croup while we were there so we headed home this morning to make a 12 o'clock appointment with her doctor. She received her first prescription today, amoxicillin, and boy does she hate it! I think that she spits more out than she actually swallows!

The pictures below are from our trip to Peru!

A Few More Christmas Pictures

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas! The Harrison family woke up around 6:30 this morning, came downstairs, said a prayer, read the Christmas story of Jesus, and then opened presents! We went to my mom's house (Garmi and Papa's) for presents, dinner, and dessert! It was a wonderful day! Happy Birthday Jesus! We are off to Grandma and Grandpas tomorrow!

Christmas Eve 2007

We went to my brother's house for Christmas Eve dinner last night. We got take out from the Backroom and then made salad, mashed potatoes, and dessert. The food was excellent! After dinner we opened a few presents and then headed to Ste. Maries for Christmas Eve Mass. Who knew that arriving 30 minutes early would mean that we would get the very last 2 pews in the back of the church! Even though the seats weren't ideal, the Mass was still beautiful (from what we could see). Here are a few pictures from last night.

Matt, Sarah, and I were quite busy yesterday. We visited with my friend Molly and her family in the afternoon, and then drove to visit with my friend Alexis and her family!

Friends and Shoes

Sarah had a great day today. Keira came over to play and Garmi and Papa brought her 4 new pairs of shoes! What else could a girl ask for?!

Laundry Help

Sarah decided to "help" mommy with the laundry. Helping means taking out the clean face cloths and dropping them on the floor or eating them!

Sarah crawled out of the living room and pulled herself up on the banister.

Let It Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow

It is definitely going to be a WHITE Christmas this year! We had about 4-5 inches on the driveway this morning when we woke up. "Lucky" Matt got to go outside, after he had showered, and shovel the driveway. When he was almost done, our neighbor (the house on the left in the top picture) across the street from us brought his snowblower over and finished the end of the driveway! He even came back a few minutes later with his son and widened the end our driveway for us! Our neighbors have been very kind to us this winter! I am going to have to make them some cookies and bring them over!
